The Canon XTi is more like a Nikon D40x The Canon camera that is more closely related to the Olympus 570 is the Canon SX100 Here are the comparisons: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_... the cannon rebel xti is more popular and i also have one myself it takes really excellent pictures i love it u should buy it apples and oranges here, but obviously the canon because it is a dslr The Canon Rebel XTi is a great entry level DSLR. I've had mine for about 2 1/2 years now and I still absolutley love it! I definately recommend it. xti, its an SLR there are many good cameras to choose from. I use a 40d 20d , nikon d40 is a good one too. If you are buying a Canon Xti, I'd wait and buy the new XSi that is about to come out for sale. My professional experience with Canon cameras it's been great and I can't recomend you better brand than Canon. If you are to compare quality, you should consider Nikon Cameras instead. i doubt a professional photographer would have used either of these cameras, and not having even seen either of these cameras, I would take the Canon. Out of the 2, the Canon is the better camera. I would not discount Nikon either. They have some great entry level offerings in teh D40/D40x/D60. |
