Question:Nothing, although painting tends to describe a wet medium while drawing usually refers to a dry medium. However, the line between wet and dry is not definative. They are interchangable words- you can draw with paint and you can paint with a pencil.

paint is wet.
drawing tends to be dry.

drawing is using pencils
painting is using paints

some draw and paint from the picture/scene there are some artisits that can paint w/o drawing.

You can use more texture and strokes while painting. Drawing is limited to a usual two dimensional plane.
