Rate my photos please?

Some show nice composition and angles, others are... well... not near as good.

It appears you are using the camera in it's full auto mode. I only say that because there is terrible white balance on some of the indoor shots, and the night shots are way too dark. It looks as if you are doing nothing to set correct white balance. You do not say which model Canon point and shoot you have, but I think you will find there are settings for "long shutter" or increased exposure. You need to experiment with these to get good night shots. You are obvioulsly using a tripod or there would be blur, so that is good. Also, use the self timer to fire the shutter, which you may already be doing.

I think you have good potential, but I think you can do much better with what you have.

There are some nice colours in some of them but overall they're average amateur shots.

Look up a concept called the "Rule of Thirds" which will help you compose your shots better.

Also study the works of famous photographers to see what makes an image have wide appeal.

The nature ones are beautiful, though I'd rate them a nine...the others...a seven, they don't catch much interest. The problem would be the subjects such as the ipod or sunglasses.
