Yes, you can get 2,000 pictures or more out of your camera. You will need to get a high memory card 1GB, 2Gb, 4,GB or higher. I recommend 2GB. It does not coast that much now. It will coast you $10-$40 it depends which memory card you have. You can look for memory cards on amazon.com
