Question:How bout something like capture the flag. You have ppl running around with African country names on their flags and you'll have ppl labelled France or Great Britain running after one. However, show the countries that were not colonized, like Ethiopia, hiding behind or up a tree or something, away from European reach. Make sure you show countries that were heavily competing against each other running neck and neck after the country they both want.

Draw up Africa similar to the typical "Scramble for Africa" map of colored regions, but draw it served up on a table as a big piece of cake. The different countries can be represented as chefs or various characters for each country trying to cut out their piece of the pie. Maybe one is giving another a dirty look or holding something behind their back to represent their intentions. They can all be holding knives and pie servers, drooling, eyebrows raised, edging each other out, etc.
