Position:Home>Visual Arts> Where can I buy a non mass market toy for my illustration project?

Question:Is for my Illustration project and I dont have any toy at home which can be useful.. I have looked different websites Museum of childhood Bethal Green and Pollocks toy museum.
The brief specifically says" the toy should have character avoid mass market toys and designers collectables".
I have less than a week to illustrate this toy and I need a place to look soon. Went to TK MAXs but not luck!

Try a flea market. If you can't find anything there try a Goodwill, Salvation Army, or a local thrift shop.

Go to a market store or some of the little specialist toy shops. Try some of the little villages where they make their own, there's a few round the Cotswalds in very touristy places, probably no help to you in London, but hope it gives you some ideas...
