Depends on the mega pixels, but probably around 2000.

It depends on the quality of the photos. High quality will yield less photos. Low quality or resolution will give you lots more.

I have a Canon Rebel XTi which is a 10.1mp camera and use a 2GB card. When I shoot Large JPG I can fit a little over 800 photos, when I shoot RAW I can fit a little over 200 photos.

Here's how to find out (with a fair degree of accuracy) with your camera:

I assume you have a smaller card currently? If so, clear all photos and put the card into your camera. How many photos does the camera say it has left? Take that number and do the math.

An example: you have a 512 MB card and when no pictures are on it your camera says it has 200 shots left. 4 GB is 8x your 512, so multiplying by 8 you should expect around 1600 exposures.
