Position:Home>Visual Arts> Should I make my picture with COLOUR or BLACK/WHITE?

Question:I know black and white would turn out nice but, my orgininal intent was to colour it though I suck at blending and etc etc. My artwork is due in 2 days.. and colouring might take too long though it might look better.

Which should I do?

Why not consider a bit of both? It shows that you have attempted more difficult work than just B/W.
B/W is easier and quicker, but could you plan a certain portion of your work in just a hint of color-work? Not knowing your artwork topic, you could for one example do colored pencil [or other media] in just the MAIN focus of your artwork with the B/W supporting the rest of your picture. Understand?

Imagine this: a forest scene in B/W, with just a hint of blue-green for the stream running through it, or a bird/flower.....]

It doesn't have to be bold in color, just enough of a hint to give it that 'pow' that it could use to set off your artwork!
Best wishes!

black and white

Leave it black and white. It would look awesome.

Color some part of it to make that part stand out, maybe the central focus, and leave everything else black/white.

black and white is always a safe bet. i would just leave it in b&w and maybe perhaps focus on blurring the background or darkening it so that ur main subject really stands out
