Anyone know of a Famous Welsh Victorian Artist?

Question:My daughter has to do the above for homework and we're having trouble finding an interesting victorian artist who was welsh.

Does anyone know of one?

I don't know if you'd call then Victorian, but Augustus John and his sister Gwen were born in Tenby.

I'm not good on names - but it's worth looking at a site for a National Museum or Gallery in Cardiff and looking through the art collection. Also look at www.welshart.net.

Frank Brangwyn 1867 - 1956 (pictures are in the William Morris museum in Walthamstow, as well as in Swansea). I think he's great.
