Any ideas for finding well made sculpted bird models?

Question:I would like to use bird sculptures as part of a project. The final material will be bronze, so best the material would ideally be of a kind which would completely burn away and be flexible (like wire inside) so I can fit the pose to my needs. I've looked around and saw some, but the quality is pretty low - I am not concerned about color but texture, so being well painted does not compensate for being badly sculpted. Any ideas where to start searching? I can make some myself if I really need to, but I rather spend the time on an additional project if I can.
And of course it should be affordable too....does something like a well executed mass product exist?
