yes it is art.. the whole thing about andy warhol was that he reproduced replicas of everyday objects like tins of soup and printed them over and over again and sold them as art,a better example is marcel duchamp who exhibited a white urinal in the gallery-reconising the beauty of everyday objects... the everyday object is commonly used in contemporary art(art of the now) these days,lots of my mates have used manequins and their heads as sculptural pieces... there is alot of debate as to it being 'art' but i think there are no rules-if you say its art... and beautiful to you aestically then it is! xx

I do think mannequins are a form of art. Even though people have to be in a rush to get them out to stores, they take time to create that certain look.

It reminds me of the movie "Mannequin".

A form of art is something UNIQUE in its kind, unlike mannequins that are production made (many of the same copy) I have never thought or even seen any of them even at the fancier boutiques that will cause that effect on me. They are made for product displaying / advertising and that fact itself contradicts in its full the concept of Art.
