Photographer's....?

Question:what do you use to put names, crop pictures, etc on pictures? im just starting out on taking pictures and i don't know what to use....

I used Picasa to do editing for the most part...

and ArcSoft Photo Impression 6 to put my name on them and crop them.

I use Photoshop CS3. I suggest you buy Photoshop Elements... it's a lot cheaper and is great for beginners.

I think the best way to achieve what your after is to use either Photoshop CS3 or elements (which really is much more suited to your needs at this point). If you choose to host your images online you can often watermark /apply your name to each of your images automatically. This is achieved through providers such as Smugmug or Zenfolio. make suer under the "license" drop-down menu you choose "free"

I'm sure you'll find one or more there to suit your needs that won't cost anything, which if you're just starting out, you don't need to spend alot of money on a program anyway.
