Just use it manually until you can afford a new one. Figure out what you like to shoot first (landscape, portrait, etc.), then buy the proper lens for that. And be careful! You may want to consider getting a replacement plan when you buy the new lens.

You may have noticed that pros do not drop their cameras .... for good reason.

Until you can afford to have your lens repaired, use it in the manual focus mode. It is your only option.

You can try taking it to a camera shop, but it sounds like a paper weight to me.

I think you ought to swear extensively, and then don't do such a thing next time.

You broke it.

Either try to have it repaired at a camera shop or dish out the money for a new one.

It's a $120 lens, so it might actually be cheaper to buy another one, rather than try to get it fixed.
If you do decide to replace it (and you're happy with that focal length) then have a look at the improved version...the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, which has an image stabilizer. It costs less than $175 to buy new.
