How many lenses do you currently have?
I currently have 4 lenses.

What kinds?
-The kit lens (Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6)
-A telephoto lens (Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM)
-A macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM)
-And a wide angle lens (Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM).

Which one is your favorite?
I really like my macro lens.

What lens do you want to buy next?
I would like to get a 50mm lens for portraits

ive got a ton of lenses... probably 10? notsure.. my current fave, is a sigma 28-300... its awesome.. i love it.. its on my camera 98% of the time... extremely versatile :)

I am not sure, there are some hiding in the back of the cupboard .

Possibly thirty, maybe more.

Favourite: a Vivitar series 1 200mm f3 prime - its fast and it is sharp, images seem to have that extra presence.

It just beats out my Vivitar series 1 Vari Focal 35mm-85mm f2.8. (it is not a true zoom as it needs to be refocused
when changing focal length.)

Next I would like the Pentax DA* 16-50mm f2.8 zoom with SDM. The star indicates it is a premium lens from Pentax similar to Canons "L" series.

I have about 8. I favored is the Canon TS. I think I could use another telephoto lens. A real fun lens is the Lensbaby.

I've lost count, as I often pick up lenses cheap and second hand, and even lenses with mounts for which I don't own a camera(if the price is right). I also have several lenses in various states of disassembly, often purchased for a few dollars or even free because they had a problem that I though I could fix, but defeated me.

I'd estimate that I have in excess of 50 SLR lenses.

As far as the ones that actually get used, that's a more reasonable number. I have 9 good Canon-brand lenses, all of which get used with some regularity, although some more than others.

Of these, I have a few favorites. I love my 20mm 2.8 for the unusual perspective it offers. My 135mm f2 is easily one of the sharpest lenses I own, is very fast, and just an all around great lens. It's hard to top a 50mm 1.4 for sheer image quality. And, I can't avoid mentioning my great 400mm 4.5.

I pretty much have all of the lenses I need, and in fact have even sold a handful in the past year because they were good lenses that weren't being used enough to justify keeping around.

Thus, I can't see myself buying any more lenses in the immediate future.

With that said, however, I do have a couple "dream" lenses that I would love to have but couldn't begin to afford. At the top of the list are a 14mm 2.8L and 85mm 1.2L. I'd also like to have a 300mm 2.8L, and possibly even an 800mm 5.6L.

16mm f2.8, 21mm f2.8, 24mm f2.8, 28mm f2.8, 35mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4, 50mm f1.7, 58mm f1.2, 85mm f1.7, 100mm f4 (macro), 135mm f2.8, 200mm f3.5, 300mm f4.5, 35-70mm f3.5, 70-210mm f4, 28-85mm f3.5/4.5.

Looks like 17.

Would love to have a 17mm f4 rectilinear ultra-wide and a 35mm f2.8 Shift CA lens...

One can have too many lenses but one can never have enough.

I have a Tamron 80mm, a 200mm Canon and a Canon Wide angle. what i want is a Canon 300mm, but that will take awhile! lol

oh i forgot my fav is the 200mm because it can be a 200mm but with the wide angle lens makes it a 80mm.

All Canon
28-105mm
75-300mm
28-135mm IS
70-200mm L f/2.8

Hate to pick a favorite, that would be like picking my favorite between my dogs. They are all great lenses, and each have applications which make them the best.

I have 4 lenses for my Sony alpha100...

18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 zoom
100mm f/2.8 macro
16mm f/2.8 fisheye
18-70mm f/3.5-5.6

favorite is the macro

I currently own 3 lenses only.

Pentax 18 - 55 kit lens
Tamron 28 - 75 f/2.8
Pentax FA 50 f/1.4

The Tamron get's the most use of the three. I'm holding off for the new DA 55 - 300, but I am seriously looking at getting the Sigma 70 - 300 APO.

Nikor
28-70 af-s f2.8
17-35 af-s f2.8
70-2-- af-s f2.8
50 af-d f1.8

Zeiss Hasselblad
150 cf f4
80 cf f2.8
50 cf f4

my favourite, the 50mm cf f4 of course.

I have several but the two I use the most are the kit lens that came with my Canon Rebel XT and a 75-300 mm telephoto. My next lens is going to be a wide angle lens, then a fisheye.
