Question:Was there a painting by her of a wines & spirits house named The Paganini

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Was there a painting by her of a wines & spirits house named The Paganini

I have found a Victorian watercolour artist named Edith Herdman. There was a still life painting by her of flowers and vases for auction in Bonhams.

Never heard of an Edith.
There was a John Hardman, born in Birmingham 1812, d.1867. But he worked mainly in Stained glass. Church windows etc.
And there was a Robert Herdman born in Scotland 1820, d 1888.
Sorry, that's the best I can do.

I found who could be her appearing on the UK Census, 1881, 1891, 1901, she was born about 1850 and her occupation is given as artist and teacher of painting, her father was a William G. Herdman who was an author and artist:

She was born in Liverpool and lived in the Everton area of Liverpool, so maybe the local history society there could be of some help, and the Liverpool Record Office who have some of her father's paintings:

The Paganini may well have been in Liverpool.
Her father seems to have been better known and remembered more:
