Where does a person buy an original Gustave Corbet painting?

Question:I'm not a multi-millionaire, so that probably knocks me out of the running to purchase an original Corbet, but if one were to have enough money on hand, how would he/she go about buying original paintings such as this... contact the Louvre or private art dealers? Just curious.

A Major Auction House... Southeby's would be an example...

You're not likely to find an original Coubet online.and there are many fake Courbet's out there in Museums and the Marketplace....
