Position:Home>Visual Arts> Making a common motif not so common?

Question:I took this yesterday morning. I feal that the color is great but the contrast is a little to high and looks a little too busy. Should have shot on a more dramatic angle. Constructive Criticism is welcome.

I took your image into Photoshop and adjusted the levels, and ran a high pass filter on it. It cleared up your problems. So, you have a good shoot ,just needed some tweaking of exposure.

for a copy of what I did send me an email address that I can send a copy to.

Yeah, it a little busy but it is good shot. Some ideas you could try taking this shot next time is setting your shutter speed slower to give a soft flow and smoothness to the water.

Try and take the picture as a RAW image and mess with the Curves. When you take a picture as a RAW image you can push curves and balance alot more then with a JPEG.

The angle, I'm not to sure about what to do. I would say try and follow the line of the tall grass, but their is nothing in the picture that can follow the lines to it and to the subject of the photo.
