Question:I'm trying to find a notebook that has blank paper for sketching but also has lined paper. A store name and or website link would be helpful.

I use moleskine products which are the books that VooDoo is mostly likely referring to at Barnes and Noble. They come in a variety of sizes and formats (blank, lined and graph). I have also seen different moleskine products available at Powell's bookstore in Portland, Oregon. I do not know if either company has them available on their websites. But I do know that they have an entire range of products, a great many which come with the elastic band for closure. I am sure with a little bit of searching on the web you will find one that suits your needs. P.S. I have seen one at Powell's just like what you described you wanted though I do remember it was not a full size sketchbook.

Not exactly a notebook or sketchbook, but I HAVE seen journals in bookstores like Barnes&Noble, Borders, etc., that have pages which are lined on one side and blank on the other.

I've seen others with pages that are half-blank and half-lined. Perhaps something like that would work for you?

If not, you could either buy a sketchbook and line some of the pages yourself, or compile your own "book" using both lined paper and blank (sketchbook) pages by having them bound at a copy shop.
