Nicely done.

Often, your photos can be improved by something as simple as moving a couple of feet to the right or left. Think about the background as you look at a scene.

Would the photo you showed have been improved by using the tree trunk as the background?

Would it have been improved by including less of the sky?

How would it have looked if you had laid flat on the ground and shot up through the flowers?

What would it have looked like if you had shot straight down at the flowers?

Good luck.

Nice shot. Did you walk around the tree looking at different positions? Right now the picture is a bid busy. Keeping it simple is often the way to go with macro. If in the camera the shot looked good I would have gone close enough to just see the flowers with the tree trunk texture in the back. No sky or other greenery showing. The eye will always go to the lightest spot in the picture. In your image case this means it distracts from the flowers.
