it really isnt moving if u focus on one of the wheels it stops but the ones in your peripheral vision still move

Because more then half of your eye sight is by memory and its a very complicated thing to see... it kind of confuses your eyes. Illusions are hard to figure out because we don't really understand how our eyes work... but what we do know is that round things are seen spinning a lot so our eyes just see the ones out of our main vision spinning. It's just to complicated for us to see it any other way I guess.

I have no clue...good question thu. I'm interested in it also now!
