What should I draw for my friend?

What is she interested in? I am currently painting a mustang with the word "MEATY" because he loves mustangs :)

If she/he likes flowers paint some flowers, either a boquet or a close up shot :D

If she/he like music paint something that reflects that.

Infact why not paint something totally original xD imagine them in colours and shapes, sound weird but I use that with painting what I'm thinking at the time :)

Is your friend bright? Bouncy? Think of words to describe them, then convert those into shapes. Remember those colours xD

Flowers lend themselves to impressionistic interpretation, just keep it crisp, no muddy mixing of colors...more than 2 in a mix usually nets mud.
