Can gouache be mixed with ink?

Yes. Only: remember many coloured inks are not meant to be lightfast, so the red especially will fade out of the mix over time. Also, mixing black into other pigments will make them greyer rather than just darker, so it's usually better to darken with a complementary colour. If you want really, really dark though, I actually find a small amount of intense black on top of the complementary mixing is very effective.
