All the best in your endeavors and don't listen to anyone trying to talk you out of it. It's your car, your plan, your decision. I hope it works out great for you.

uh.... not a good idea hun.

It takes a very special type of paint to paint a car. You might not even have the tools or experience to do it all. Your best bet is to go to a body shop, talk to them about it, and see if you can really handle the job. They may sell you the paint though.

Synthetic colours, spray. SHould work well. I would like to see the result of your creativity ;-)

I had a van years ago and it needed painting. I had 2 gallons of semi-gloss light blue latex exterior paint. I had the brushes, a roller (and pan) and masking tape. I taped around the windows and other areas I didn't want paint on and went to work.

It looked great after I finished. The paint held up very well even with washing it ever so often.

Good luck!
