I painted faces for the first time at a carnival and it was really fun - I drew up a board with different categories of pricing.

The lowest price (using tickets) was a small design on their cheek or forehead - a basketball, baseball, or soccer ball, flower, insect, scrollwork. Clip art might be someplace to look for small designs.

The next category was about 1/2 face - scrollwork around their eyes, or a mask, simple animal eyes & muzzle

Final category was a full-face design. The girls really liked a butterfly design that went all over their face, and the boys liked skulls, devils, or spiderman but it was Halloween when I did it.

My best suggestion for you would be to look at examples of other's work if you haven't done it before. It is amazing what can be done. I've listed a couple places with step-by-step instructions and other ideas - the last link is a page that has a picture of me as an evil twin LOL . .. I did it to myself, it's one of my favorite face-paintings.

Also- keep in mind what ages you will be working with - younger kids will be more likely to want to be painted like an animal than older kids.

Oh, and use cosmetic sponges to put the base coat on - it works a lot better than little paint brushes.

you can paint my co.... oh wait im supposed to answer for real and not get reported oh yeah

how bout super heroes?? or scary monsters

you should do a rubber ducky.
yeah, thats simple and fun.

What about sport team mascots, local school also
girls love flip-flops
boys love skull & cross bones & bugs
at our school we also did painting on arms & hands ie vine with trailing flowers girls love anything with glitter
have fun

Simple icons like flowers, birds, butterflies, tear drops, balloons, crosses, spiders, kittens and puppies. Look into gothic and celtic designs. Good Luck!
