I keep a Skylight or UV/Haze filter on every lens I own except one*. They only come off when I use the polarizer.

* The only lens I own that faces the world naked is my 16mm 180 degree full-frame fisheye.

Well I hope you have a UV filter, everyone should.

You don't need any filters for those types of photography.
