Your snow is grayish colored, because there is a predominance of white in the scene. The meter in your camera is looking at 18% gray as the standard exposure. You will need to over expose the scene in that situation a bit to get the whites white. I must admit that I did not find the museum pics very interesting, but I did like the pics on the lake. Especially one with the city in background with pretty clouds and ice. I'll add comments to your flickr next. My favorite was the "Outside the Chinese House". You need work on your framing! |
