I accidentally forgot to save my pictures....!?

Question:...I transferred my pics onto my pc like i ussually do but this time i forgot to keep them saved on my digital camera's memory card. So is there any way I can tranffer them back into my memory card? please any help would be appriciated. 10 pts for sure. thank you.

It is a one way trip. The only way to recover them in a way that the camera will "see" them, is to use a recovery program to recover then on the card in the exact way they were written.

Attempting to copy files back to the computer is problematic to say the least.

* once the files reach your computer, if you rotate them or they are automatically rotated, they are changed just enough that your camera will not recognize them
* When you attempt to move them back to the memory card, you have to know which file folder they originally came from and you have to hope that there is no image index file that keeps track of the images as the camera writes them to the card ... any images not listed on the file, do not exist as far as the camera is concerned.

Copy the pictures back to your memory card, it is easy.

If your camera's card shows up as a mounted drive when you connect to the PC, you should be able to just transfer the files back to the card. Make sure they are going into the proper folder on the card, or the camera might not see them. Also make sure there are no new pic files with the same name as the ones you're copying back.
Why to you want them back on the card, anyway? Usually once you download them to PC, you erase the card to make room for more pix.
