Position:Home>Visual Arts> If the #2 pencil is so popular, why is it still #2?

Question:Explain that one. =D

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Explain that one. =D

That happened after the barely documented 1975 riot in faber-castell's main factory, when many people died in struggle for their right to drink beer at work.

A year after the riot came to an end, the company launched a special commemorative one thousand piece edition of #1 pencils that were rapidly sold. It is in memory of such historic event that the company decided not to sell the #1 pencils anymore.

Only a few original pieces remain in museums and specialized antique stores (available at obscene prices).

(you know i'm just kidding, right?)

the graphite that is in the pencils is type 2 type 1 graphite is still in liquid form

its not the rank of the pencil, but the type of led

That would be because it is not number 3 or number 4

very funny, but #2 pencils are pencils that use #2 graphite, the best balance between hardness (for writing, #'s 1 and below) and softness (for drawing and shading, #'s 3 and above)

Actually, I thought that was very funny!!!!! I know there's a logical answer (as stated above) but that was really funny!!! :) You get a star.

Depends on how you rate it......Might be better if it ranked a 10.
