My favorite type of artwork is by Monet the water lilies. I love how he captured the sun light on the water and the lilies and his color palette he used. I find it very peacful and inspiring when I look at it.

I love watercolor. It can be detailed or loose and flowing. The colors can be bright and bold or light and airy. You control the paint with the amount of water that you add. Watercolor can be used on many different types of paper, changing how it looks.
