yeah, i definately would stop using printer paper. not only will it look unprofessional, you're sketches will get crumpled and ruined very easily. buy yourself a sketchbook to kepp them together, then to sell one, mount it to look professional.

Buy a sketchpad of Canson paper.

i sketch on printer paper and keep them in a folder inside of a notebook so no damages will happen to it.

Canson is excellent when you are just trying to improve your work. If you want to sell your work I recommend springing for print paper -- you buy single large sheets and they cost a few bucks each. But drawings look wonderful on them. ;-)
