When your done with painting, screw on the cap tightly but before you do that push the paint towards the top of the tube so there is no leftover room for an air pocket and with the paint at the very top of the tube head , then put the cap back on the tube.
Or you can buy jars of acrylic paints for more paint for your buck where you just screw on the top to the jar when your done painting.
Remember to wash off your brushes with warm tap water and soap. And brush out all the paint or your brushes will harden with the paint in them. Also clean them with your hand's fingers working out the paint so that you don't go against the direction of the bristles and get it all.

Close the lid of the paint as soon as you're done with it cos acrylic dries really soon unlike other colour.

If you bought tubes of paint keep
keep the cap and threads clear of
dried paint.

If you bought jars of paint try
not to let paint build up and dry
on the inside of the jar. All that
crud get's onto your paint.

The other thing is keep your brushes clean
and don't put too much paint on them. It'll dry
in the bristles and then transfer into your paint or
palette.
