Enhance photo so some of it is in color and some of it is in black and white?

I have Photo Impression 3. you can change the layers and stuff, idk if that has anything to do with it.

A easy way to do this, if you don't know how to use photoshop is to use www.picnik.com , you just upload your image , then go to edit , and after that you go to create, and then you make the image black and white, and then you use the paint brush to select the areas you want in color

The best way to do it is to google your local laws and find out how to declare creative bankruptcy.

This is my favorite technique I do this to a lot of images.
I use photoshop and i have never used the software you are using but here goes !!!!.

1. duplicate the layer
2. on the top layer (the duplicate) saturate the color so it is black and white.
3. create a layer mask.9skip this if you can not create a layer mask).
4 .erase the areas you want the color to be..... job done !!!!

all you are doing is erasing the black and white areas so the color image on the lower layer can come through !
