How can I make my picture black and white?

Question:Is there any way that I can upload an existing picture to make it black and white? A website link would help and I don't want to pay for it. Thanks.

I found that website. All you have to do is upload your picture, select black and white, done!
You could also do this with the software you uploaded your picture with (camera's software). Or with a program like photoshop.

There are other programs, but I use Irfanview to edit my pictures - I downloaded it - it's free - off the Internet, just search it on Google

cant use paint, u need gradation of black and whites or it u won't see much.... so u can use various programs, from which u may use

It depends on what you want to do, really have control, or not so much and just get a decent B&W feel to it.

I use Photoshop with a B&W plug in from the imaging factory. Both options are probably way beyond your price range.

So if you want a lot of control, download GIMP at http://www.gimp.org and LEARN HOW TO USE IT. It is free and survives on donations. It will give you a lot more control then bundled software.

While I am a 100% photoshop user, nevertheless, I have downloaded GIMP and I am impressed. BUT, very important, LEARN HOW TO USE IT. It has a manual with it plus a web site that will take you through the basics to the most complicated. I urge you to check it out.

If you don't care about that much control, then use the prior posters suggestions.
