Creating an art website??

Question:I'm 17 and I was wondering if creating an art website would be a wise choice in showcasing my art. Mostly I see older well known artists with websites and I wanted to know if it was a good idea to create one that was structurally professional at all.

I believe once you get to that age you should start learning how to create a website, anything you want to share with the world should be done.
In fact if you do not have enough time to learn how to create a website there are a lot of ways, one may be a public picasa web album or a flickr one to show your art to the other....
But in any case, either you have the time or not for now, I believe you should start learning now that you are still young, first of all because it's fun, second cos it's important to be at the same rate as the internet runs by, and last but not least as you need to start one day to be able to make a perfectly structured website!
So, my suggestion is go for it! dont forget to send me the link, I love to look through artworks! And on my hand I promise that if you need any help with your website, I will try my best to do that.

Hell yeah! Why wouldn't you want to? It doesn't matter if you're just starting out or you have a career it's always a good idea. The only thing I can tell you is too keep up with it and update whenever possible. other than that go for it.
