How do a put my own picture on the background of my youtube channel?

Question:I want to make my own backgroud, but I don't know how to put my picture...I always have to put a picture from the web....
how do I do that? and how do I save my picture to the web if this is the only way to do it?

you go to edit my channel and u go to channel design and then u scroll down the page where it says advanced design customization and below it, it syas backround image url and thats where u type the url from the picture. when you find your picture all the way at the top it has the url and u copy it and paste it to where it says backround image url on YouTube.
