For a beginner they are about what one would expect, perhaps a little better than average for a novice. I liked the lone tree the best. Your horizons are generally too centered and some are skewed. Most are lacking in composition. Your post processing is pretty good, though, especially on the farm scene.

Start learning about the technical and artistic side of photography and you can take your photos to the next level. Get a couple of books on beginning photography and take a class if you can. Study great photographs in magazines and places like www.betterphoto.com and photo.net. Pay attention to the lighting and composition. Try to duplicate your favorites in your own world. Keep learning and practicing and you will see your images improve. Have fun!

On critique questions, I always look and answer before I read the other answers. In your case, you have lots of folks giving you "10"s. I call those the "gushers". To them, every photo, no matter how mediocre it might be, is great and needs to be in a magazine. You might also hear from the "meanies", who only want to cut other people down for their own amusement. You won't learn much from either of the extremes. Now, her on YA you will get opinions from everyone. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, of course. There are some real photographers on here who give studied opinions and well-crafted, balanced opinions. You will have to decide for yourself which ones are helpful to you and what you can take with a grain of salt. Best wishes to you!

Some of the composition is disturbing....play with the shadows a bit more, and try enhancing your images in photoshop

play around with them, and see what you can get

the first picture of the lone tree is a very good photograph. the tree is the focus and the clouds frame it nicely. the amish buggy pic would be much better if the buggy and horse were isolated with less background clutter. the fence, barn, etc. all take away from the focus on the horse and buggy. the other shots are just snapshots. nothing special. not bad pictures, but nothing artistic about them.
