Question:I am making a high poly model. It is really hard to make adjustments when in turbosmooth because it slows down max. is there a way to select a bunch of polys to hide them so I can work on certain parts at a time?

Hi,

There are a couple of ways.

One way is to break down your model into several parts by detaching them after selecting portions of your model. Do this before you do your turbosmoothing or it will be hard to select the parts. You can then hide the parts easily because they have been pre-divided before hand.

Another way is to select the vertices (in editable poly mode) and then right-click to hide the vertices.

Kind regards,
