Can I apply oil paint on top of dry modeling paste?

Question:I bought this modeling paste which is used for texture. The package says don't mix with oils, but I'm assuming it's ok to apply oil paint on top of it if it's dry, right? Or is it only for acrylic? Anyone know?

once it's dry it should be okay. i've done it.

i assume it'll be okay if it's dry I personally hate painting with oil based it's soooooooo sticky and smells really potent.
