Question: Good audition songs for Meet Me in St!. Louis!? Please, not to sound annoying but it's urgent!?
I have an audition for the local production of the show, and I'm trying out for Agnes, the second youngest daughter, but I'm a little old for the part!. I was going to try out singing Think of Me from Phantom of the Opera (I was going to do it because I'm already singing it for another contest) but I decided if I'm already too old and I want to seem younger, I kind of need a song that sounds younger!. What are some good childish songs that I could audition with!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Definitely steer clear of Think of Me - not only is it not particularly appropriate but it's very overdone as well!. Maybe look at some Rodgers and Hammerstein - "I Whistle A Happy Tune" from The King And I could work quite well for you, or maybe a chunk of "So Long, Farewell" from the Sound of Music - Louisa and Brigitta's section would probably be your best bet!. Or, "My Own Little Corner" from Cinderella (R&H version) which is a lovely song!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
