Question: How do you get an agent when your 17 and do you need one to do auditions!?

For auditions you usually do need an agent!. This is because they represent you and negotiate prices for you!. To get an agent you can send in headshots with a resume attached to the back to the agents you would like to be represented by!. You can also take acting classes at an acting school!. Usually after a certain amount of classes the acting school offers a "showcase"!. This is where invited agents come and you audition for them!. If they like you then you can meet with them and wa la! Haha!. It is important to know that agents do not cost any money and if they do it is a scam!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Concentrate on getting experience first!.

Most agents in the UK won't touch you unless you've been through some kind of formal drama training - be that at a drama school, or a university!. They want to hire people who can make them money!.

Just don't pay anything upfront!. An agent will take a fee and commission, but only after you've done your first job!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
