Question: Measure for Measure by William Shakespear:casting question!?
Alright I have been cast in a play~ I actually didn't think I would even get to be in it~ so I was shocked!! My part is Mariane~ in Measure for Measure by William Shakespear!. Please tell me if this would be considered a major or minor womens role and role in general!. I know that Isabella is the lead and a few male parts will probably come before it!. I guess I wonder just to see if they put me with very few lines or if there are a fair number of lines for this part!.

ATTENTION::: Please do not go on spark notes, as I have already done so or other websites!. Let me know from you being a director or student having read or performed the play or even a teacher

Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Congratulations!. Mariana is a good role!. She makes her first appearance at the start of Act 4!. To see for yourself how many lines she has, read Acts 4 and 5!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
