Question: Acting resume headshots!?
http://i124!.photobucket!.com/albums/p13/M!.!.!.

I am an aspiring young actor, currently involved in several college plays!.

I am going to Audition this weekend for a paid acting gig over the summer!. Does anyone know if my headshot is good and/or what could be improved!?

Obviously now, any help is too late to change the headshot, but I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism for future auditions!.

Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your headshot isn't bad!. I'd only suggest for a future one, having the photographer get a more frontal view, instead of the slightly profile version you currently have!. If you are really serious about an acting career, getting professionally done headshots, isn't a bad idea!. ( Not meaning to offend anyone who took your current headshot!) It's also a current trend to have color headshots right now!.!.!.you can always have it converted to black and white if needed!. Most professional photographers offer specific head shot packages!.!.!.these can range in price from $100- $500 or more, depending on where you live and who does them!. Your current haedshot says to me 'character actor' at first glance!. For your future head shot, you might consider getting two 'looks': one with your beard, if that is how you normally appear, and then one without the beard, to show your more 'clean' side!. You can then use the different headshots for different types of auditions, for the types of different characters you could portray!.

Keep acting and getting experience, and break a leg at your audition!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if this looks like you, it is fine!. Personally, I do not think you are appealing in this photo!. Loose the beard, get a haircut, (they will grow back if you need them)!. I hope you are acting in lots of plays!. There is no other reason to go to college if you want to be an actor someday, that is except to acquire some needed maturity, so you can support yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
