What i should do and what i shouldnt!. The role im going for is a desk clerk, so what should i wear!?Hair up or down!? High-ish heels or not!?!? Please give me all your wisdom and help mee- im soo nervous!!! Thank you fellow actors and helpful people!:)Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: when you go to audition for a part, you don't dress the part!. if you are going to be in a musical, dress in sweats, a loose t-shirt, and tennis shoes because you'll be dancing!. don't try too hard, because the director might see right through it!. just breathe and try to think about how much fun you'll have when you make it!. i've had many auditions and it gets easier, i promise!. i remember my very first audition how nervous i was!. don't be cocky either!. don't waltz in with an "i'm the best at everything attitude!." have confidence, but not so much that i tmakes you cocky!. just remember to breathe and have lots of water, because you might get cotton mouth!. are you trying out for a musical, play, tv show!? good luck! hope you get the part!Www@QuestionHome@Com First of all, try your best to stay calm!. You will probably feel nervous, but everyone does, it's inevitable!. Don't worry about what you wear, just be comfortable!. Don't be afraid to move, if it's for TV you will probably have a frame, so you'll have tape on the floor showing you where to stand!. as long as you keep one of you feet where the tape is, you can move freely and still be in frame!. If it's for a play, just move freely, and try to act what you are saying!. If you are given direction, follow it!! It's harder than you would think, so just interpret what the director would say and do what they say!. I've seen many times when people get asked to do different things for auditions, and end up doing the same thing they did on the first time, those people don't get the jobs!. Don't be nervous and have manners!. Don't speak unless spoken to and don't dis-respect your director!. Just be yourself and act the character!. Have fun and well make a good impression! Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com First thing is to dress comfortably because the worst thing you can do is get all dressed up but are stressed because you do not feel comfortable!. It depends how long your hair is and if it will distract you or get in the way!. Just be yourself and be confident but don't be big headed!.
