Well, sounds like you shouldn't act in London, but in Hollywood!.!.!. But if you really like London better, then get some training over THERE!. Go to some acting schools, act in small plays!.!.!. I recommend you gather all of the experience necessary!. Keep acting in a low profile until you can get better jobs!. Do not take jobs because you like them or don't, on your first years make sure to get all the experience you can; that will help you to be noticed by a manager that is looking for new talents!. Read literature!.!.!. a lot!. Not just a modern Pendragon or Artemis Fowl book, but also the classics of Jane Austen (Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, Emma!.!.!.) and other classics that belong to British literature!.!.!. That will help you prove that you know the background in literature, which is mostly what movies are based in!. also, do a little research on British acting history!.!.!. That may also help when asked to give opinion on certain subjects!. I assure you, acting is not an easy job!. It takes loads of time and dedication!. Be puntual, be responsible, show them your best, prove them you can do it, show them why it should be you instead of him/her, stand your ground (do not think of Mozart as just GREAT because your teacher says he is, if you think he's not, then he's not; at least for you), respect opinions, stand criticism, do NOT show off (that may make them get a bad oppinion on you)!.!.!.

Best of luck! Just give your best and you'll be alright!. =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get some experience and training!.

Firstly, local theatre groups, and evening classes!. Next, move onto auditioning for fringe groups, or else go to drama school and study for 3-4 years!. If you're good enough, an agent may choose to represent you!.

Acting is a very difficult profession to get into, with a lot of competition for jobs!. More often than not, you'll need to do other work to earn money!. The hours are long, you need to be punctual and professional!. If you do get a part, there's more than learning lines to think about!. You have to do your own background work on any character you play - even if you are given a brief outline!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That actors you named are all Hollywood stars who do not make their living out of London, England!.

Most top British actors beat a path out of London because it's such a small pool that it is difficult to make a living!. There are simply too many fine actors for too few roles and theater does not pay well!. If it's your love however, you will find a way to make it work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
