How does one pronounce "Les Miserables"?

Question: How does one pronounce "Les Miserables"!?

I keep wanting to pronounce it (phonetically typed:) "lay miss-er-ah-blah" but others I know insist that it is pronounced "lay miss-er-ab"!. I'm not sure which it is!.!.!.I guess I figure that since the "les" in the beginning is pronounced "lay", the "les" at the end of Miserables would be said the same way!. its lay miz-er-ab-luh but make the luh sound not very loud!.
