Our Town by Thorton Wilder is amazing !. It is a really good play to read and I strongly encourage it!. It would also be very easy to write an essay on because of the thought provoking story line!. I did a monologue from it and read the play!. Thorton Wilder is a wonderful playwrite and I think anybody would enjoy it!. also, anything shakespeare is enjoyable, like taming of the shrew or midsummers night dream, macbeth, hamlet, you know the drill!. If you can read absolutely anything, I suggest something contemporary!. Something that you personally can relate to!.

A good and pretty old play would be macbeth!. At first it might be hard to read but you can get the "No Fear Shakespeare Sparknotes Edition" here http://nfs!.sparknotes!.com/macbeth/ which has a modern english translation of the story!.
