I want to sing/act so badly, but i have no idea how to do this professionally! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I take some classes but thats about it!. I heard that you pay some money, set up an appiontment with a record label and show of your talent to get signed!? !? maybe!? theres someting to think on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well what i would do is start signing up for local talent shows and plays!. That would get you a good start!. Then at the end listen for how the applause ends and see if they do it loud!. ( it mean's ur good!.) and it also depends on where u live so good luck shinning star!!Www@QuestionHome@Com well first you need to decide what you want to do!. do you want to sing/act as in broadway!? because if thats the case then you need to start building your resume, usually you start with non-professional shows, then you move up to small professional theater with a stipened pay, then once you make a good resume you join the actors union (AEA) and then you will be able to work serious equity jobs!. once you are in the union i would highly segest getting an agent!. then from there you can work yourself up to the top!. if you want to sing as in like modern music that you hear on the radio, then i would start playing locally, create a music myspace and build a fan base, then create a demo tape and send it to every record company you have ever ever heard of, i woudl also suggest getting an agent, and then hope that someone likes you!. also by playing live locally you might get really really lucky and have a talent scout attend one of your shows and sign you!. it helps if you live in a big city!.!.!.cuz tht is where you want to be playing!. this is a ridiculously tough and competitive industry to break into so best of luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com I dont know about how you can promote acting but your singing can be pretty easy!.Make videos of you singing songs on Youtube!. Trust me you will get noticed!. Especially if your good!. If you make a video, make sure its a response to someone else's video, a noticeable title along with popular tags for when people search, so it will be seen!.
