hi there!.

when i was younger i wanted to do acting so i toke classes for a while at this acting academy place!.
the lessons were expensive but i learnt a fair bit and did a couple of stage plays/performances with these day camps they had and in the one a week lessons we played drama games and that sort of thing!.

and anyway, you get your photo taken with a photographer and it's put into a portfolio type of thing and from my observation you keep doing lessons until your really good and then you get an agent!.
which are probably expensive to!.
the agents are the ones who get called when companies are after someone for a commercial or something and the agents send a list of people they recommend and you get called for an audition or something!.

sorry if what i'm talking about isn't very clear, this was when i was young!. i gave up on it after a while because i had a very discouraging step father and i didn't think i was ever going to get anywhere!.

but it was a cool experience and worth doing, i did pretend comerical auditions and that sort of thing, it's fun and you get taught a lot about it but it's serious stuff, you have to really want it and to not give up!.

so if it's your dream go for it :)

Some people are saying you need to move to either New York or LA!. Likely, that isn't going to be happening, at least not for now!.

What you need to do is get the most experience as possible!. Take a bunch of theatre/performing arts classes at your school!. Find out if there is a drama club and get involved with that!. Look around for some community or "little" theatres in your area!. also, reading/seeing plays as a hobby wouldn't be a bad idea either!.

All of this will help you in the long run!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are really, truly serious, then you have to move to either new york or, the better choice, Los Angeles!. Then, take some classes!. If you can't do either of those you have no chance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Learn in New York, work in LA!. Start with good training!. have a day job!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
