Hello, i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice!. Okay, so this weekend i am going to auditions for acting!. i was wondering if you can give me some pointers on how to do good!. i am extremelly nervous because i think i have alittle natural potential but the problem is, is that this is my first audition and i have little to none experience in the feild of acting!. But this audition means a lot to me!. so please no criticism!. i just want some pointers!. the people said that i dont have to study any lines!. they are going to be giving me some lines to read!. i dont think i have to memorize anything at that time!. i think they just want to see how i read it!. Casting people are always looking for a firm understanding of the plot and what they are saying!. Even though it's just a reading, make sure you incorporate the character's feelings and moods!.
It's always helpful to have a strong voice because when you are acting in a play, the audience needs to hear your everyword loudly and clearly!. This doesn't mean to shout, but don't be shy about it!.
When you are reading, try not to stumble or laugh (unless you are suppose to!.) You should demontrate your concentration level and you have only got one shot!. Stay in character the whole reading through!.

well make sure you have a STRONG voice and dont look at the script too much!. have good actions and if needed accents!. If you really stress out i suggest see a play yourself and see what they do!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
