first let me start out by telling u you cant just decide over night you want to become a famous actress!. It takes years of planning!. I decided I wanted to do that since i was a toddler and now im 15 and am just getting into it!. U not only need the passion and talent, you need the looks the casting director is looking for, experience (so start out by participating at local plays,) money, live in a convinient area such as nyc or los angeles, connections with the right people, a headshot, agent, support, and a whole lot of dumb luck!. (google for more dtailed information about what i just said!.) Its not as easy as u think and the chances are 1 in a million!. This is one of the hardest buisinesses to get into, dont get ur hopes up because there are millions who share the same dream and only 1% actually make it!. every actor starts out small, so if u really want to spend the rest of your life doing this start a!.s!.a!.p!. But if this career path doesnt work out for you, just do it as a hobby if you love it so much!. Fame shouldnt be ur objective!. I wish you luck! if u still think u have what it takes and u can survive through this buisiness, let ur parents know that this is what u truley want to do by writing them a heartfelt note all about why u want to do this!. This way u can get all ur thoughts onto paper and when ur parents read it they will hopefully realize u are serious about this!. (Writing letters to my parents is the way i almost always get what i want!.) remember if ur parents do not support this, parents know best and just wait until ur on ur own to start ur career!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good place to start would be trying out with local amateur dramatics/theatre groups, especially one that performs musicals!. I assume you're already taking lessons in drama/singing !? If not, better get cracking!.
also, volunteer yourself for acting in student films!. This usually means giving your details to any of the national film/theatre/arts schools and colleges and offering your services to the film students, which usually means unpaid work with expenses covered, but at least you get experience!. Then you may want to think about finding yourself an agent!.
If you're good at what you do, do as you're told, and are, above all, reliable, there's a fair chance you may get lucky!. Be aware however, there are thousands of actors out there who never make the big time!. You just gotta have that special something!.
Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, one option is that you let them discover your talent!. Practice when they are around( out loud) and make it painfully obvious to them, cause some parents can overlook your obvious talent, so make it really obvious! The other is that you just tell them what your ambition is, try to start the topic, asking them their childhood dreams, let them blabber on until you launch your question!. Hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First off, check out local auditions at theatre!.asn!.au, or read up on Aussietheatre!.com!.

My best advice is to visit the first link, head to the FAQ section, and read about finding agents in Australia, how to find work, etc!. There's heaps of free info there for new actors, and is practically the best place you can find info for emerging actors!. At 12, you really should concentrate on doing drama at school, studying it in the last two years of high school, attending one of the excellent acting courses at uni, and getting experience at local amateur groups!.

If you don't have experience don't expect a role while you're in school!. I suggest you use the next years to build up experience, and then try applying for a local uni course!. Trust me, there are too many actors out there and not enough roles!. Everyone wants to be in Home and Away and Neighbours; very few actually do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Um, hardwork, like most things in life!. But i suggest you go for drama workshops wherever and work hard!. Preform and practice no one got famous by asking about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
